Chelsea have a lot to prove to themselves as well as fans and detractors when they play Stoke City in their next Premier League game on Saturday.
The Blues were trounced 3-0 by Man United last week with Nemanja
Vidic, Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov scoring the goals. However
they bounced back to win 1-4 against Southend in their FA Cup replay.
Manager Luiz Felipe Scolari will be keen to get their League campaign
back on trqack and a win in this game will be the first step towards
that objective.
Stoke City are hovering just above the relegation zone despite a
creditable 0-0 draw against Liverpool last week. The Potters are also
looking for their first win in eight League matches.
The club is also without an away win in their last 10 games.
