West Ham United scored a huge win at home over the weekend when they brushed aside Manchester City by a score of 1-0 at the Boleyn Ground. It was a nice way for the side managed by Gianfranco Zola to bounce back from a loss away to Bolton Wanderers last week by a score of 2-1 at Reebok Stadium. Thanks to their victory West Ham United were able to leap-frog over this week's opponent- Wigan Athetlic- into 7th place of the Premier League table with 36 points.
